Respite and short-term accommodation

A break that works at both ends

Respite works when it's a break for the carer and a good few days for the person staying. We plan both ends of that, which is why we keep it small and personal rather than running it as a program.

What it covers

Short stays away with support around the clock, so families and carers get a proper break and the person we support gets a change of scene and something to look forward to. We plan each stay around the person: what they want to do, who they want with them, and the routine that keeps them settled. Talk to us about what you need and when, and we'll work out the arrangement that fits.

01

A place set up for it, in town

We have a house in Dalby set up for short stays, with a kitchen people can sit in over a coffee, a lounge, and bedrooms for the guest and the staff member on shift. It is a house, and it feels like one.

02

Around the clock, with people you know

Support runs through the night as well as the day, and it's staffed by workers who are already familiar. School holidays are the busiest time and the one worth booking early for.

03

Planned around the person, not the calendar

Before a stay we work out what they want to do while they are there, who they want around, and the parts of the routine that keep them settled. Tell us what you need and when, and we'll work out the arrangement that fits.

Where we work

Available across a two-hour radius of Dalby

We are based in Dalby and cover roughly a two-hour radius, which takes in a lot of country other providers will not travel to.
